This 16V Golf GTI one of the very last small bumper before the facelift in 1989.  This GTI 16V is in concourse condition.  The metallic black paint is exceptional and still retains the bar code sticker.  The interior still has the new car smell and the factory fit leather puts you in heaven.  The engine bay and underside of the car is spot less and the old adage certainly is true “its so clean you could eat your dinner off it”

Ordered 11th October 1989 by a English service man in RHD from Hoensbroek in The Netherlands, then imported & registered 24th November 1989 by Ms S Lynch of Brooklands Sports and Prestige for him.

The Service man keep it garaged in England for 16 years having it stored, serviced and MoTed by the same garage despite rarely using the car, as he lived and served abroad.
