Car History
This is an extremely rare car. One of only 6 1300 series 4 Vixen’s with M-type chassis. I believe this to be number 4 of 6.
The complete nut and bolt restoration to the highest standard was started several years ago. Which includes a rollcage built into the fibreglass and under the interior trim. The Ford Pinto 2.0ltr engine was fitted in 1985, state of tune un-known.
It needs to be finished off with a little interior trim, and engine hoses and ancillaries.
This would make a fantastic race car with the strength of the M chassis and light Vixen body. Would also make a great Tuscan V8.
Model History
Only 15 cars built with the 1296 Triumph Spitfire engine between 1971-1972. 9 series 3 Vixen’s with Vixen chassis and 6 series 4 with M type chassis.
