A rare Limited Edition (10 numbered cars) Aniversary car of the TVR marque celebrating 10 years of Martin Lilley ownership of the company.

This car is number 3

The car has an extensive history file naming all eight owners. The original TVR Owners Handbook, receipts and records for servicing and parts.

Most MoT’s are present verifying the low mileage of only 61,212 miles.

Mr J Lucas (sixth owner) bought the car in 1996 and in the November of that year started a complete body off restoration (photos in folder). David Gerald TVR completely rewired the car. He owned the car until June 2004

Mr D Martin (seventh owner) in 2004 had the engine rebuilt at 56,872 miles to run on unleaded fuel replacing the clutch and adding some very sporty blue aluminium rocker covers. This work was carried out by Ric Wood the engine builders (£2,118).

In 2005 the gear box was replaced with a 5 speed type 9 gearbox along with bell housing and rebuilt drive shafts also carried out by Ric Wood (£1,773).

The differential was replaced in July 2011

So this 3rd out of 10 Limited Edition Aniversary Car has covered 61,212 miles with MoT and tax, known history and documentation showing a body off chassis restoration, complete rewire, engine rebuild (unleaded) and a five speed gearbox.

TVR 3000M 1976 Martin 3 Aniversary Car

“After 10 years of ownership Martin built a commemorative series of 10 Martins - they are badged not with a TVR on the bonnet but an M - they had all the extras fitted” (Mervyn TVRCC Sprint magazine September 1995)
